WHAT WE DO
Purpose-driven social action: what powers VNV Foundation.
VNV Foundation structures its work around four core pillars, which represent the main areas of action through which we aim to create positive impact in Mexico and global communities.

Child Well-being
In many contexts, children face abandonment, poverty, violence, or lack of access to education and healthcare. That’s why one of our main pillars is the comprehensive support of children.
We develop initiatives ranging from providing school supplies and meals to emotional education workshops, recreational activities, and psychological care.
Our programs aim to create safe spaces, boost children’s self-esteem, and provide opportunities for healthy and dignified development.

Animal Protection & Rescue
Thousands of animals in Mexico live in abandonment. At VNV Foundation, we believe that respect for animal life is part of an ethical and compassionate society. That's why we run sterilization, vaccination, and responsible adoption campaigns in collaboration with local shelters and veterinarians.
Our goal is to reduce animal suffering, promote a culture of respect for animals, and offer second chances to those without a voice.

Indigenous Communities
The future can’t be built without recognizing and respecting the past. That’s why one of our next major focus areas is working with Indigenous communities in Mexico, supporting their development while respecting their identity, culture, and autonomy.
We plan to implement educational, health, and economic projects that strengthen their local capacities and allow them to shape their own future—free from external impositions.

Sustainable Action
We believe sustainable development is an essential part of every social project. That’s why our programs aim to minimize environmental impact, use resources responsibly, and promote eco-friendly practices in the communities we work with.
Whether through recyclable materials, reforestation efforts, or environmental education, each VNV Foundation project is designed to care for both people and the planet.
